Fife House’s Strategic Direction – 2013- 2017 is guided by a partnering, flexible, diverse and respectful approach which is shared by our staff, volunteers and programs / services.
As the HIV/AIDS, health and housing/homeless services sector and related public policy change, and as Fife House’s direct service programs respond, Fife House must review its structure, operational and support systems, key personnel, resource streams, and other aspects of the agency to ensure that it is aligned with the environment in which it works, and strengthens effectiveness and viability.
Fife House Strategic Directions:
1. Fife House will continue to look for opportunities to optimize its organizational effectiveness and viability.
2. Fife House will demonstrate leadership in developing and implementing effective approaches in the housing and support continuum to move homeless HIV+ persons including those with aging and complex care issues, into safe and supportive housing.
3. Fife House will work collaboratively and in partnership to increase supportive housing options for HIV+ individuals and families who are on the verge of homelessness or moving out of homelessness.
4. Fife House will lead and/ or participate in community based research and program evaluation. Including to enhance our use of evidence-based practices in order to improve our programs and services and inform policy change.
