Why Your Ticket Matters: The Sorauren Women’s Residence Revitalization Fund

For many, we are the difference between crisis and stability — between uncertainty and home.

100% of the funds raised through this raffle will go directly toward Fife House’s Sorauren Women’s Residence Revitalization Fund – a transitional housing program for women who are living with HIV/AIDS, and who are also survivors of gender-based violence.

These vital funds will help us renovate and refresh the residence which is located in an aging facility in Toronto’s west end. The renovation will help ensure that Sorauren Women’s Residence continue to be a safe haven for women in need, and that residents have a secure, modern, accessible, and welcoming environment to call home for a while they work on rebuilding their lives and health. Your contribution helps us maintain the high standard of care and community that Fife House is known for.

  • Community programs that reduce isolation and build belonging

  • Case management and systems navigation services, and more!

Fife House’s Raise the Roof 50/50 Electronic Raffle Rules of Play Electronic Raffle (Licence # RAF1532341)

  1. Players must be 18 years or older, and use a major credit card, Visa Debit or MasterCard Debit. Ticket sales start on March 1 at 9am and end on March 31 at 4pm (draw at 4:30pm on March 31, 2026)
  2. Tickets will be available online and sold at a rate of:
    • 10 for $10
    • 40 for $25
    • 100 for $50
    • 250 for $100
  3. Ticket sales will take place on the draw dates listed above, at the following location: Fife House, 2nd Floor – 490 Sherbourne St., Toronto, ON, M4X 1K9
  4. The winner will receive a cash prize of 50% of ticket sales.
  5. All ticket numbers will be emailed to ticket purchasers by the registered Electronic Raffle Supplier (ERS) (Rafflebox). A physical ticket will not be mailed out for this draw.
  6. The winner will be determined by a random draw using a registered Electronic Raffle Supplier (ERS) Random Number Generator (RNG).
  7. The winner will be contacted by phone and email. Winners have six months to claim their prize. Any prizes which are not claimed must be secured or placed in safekeeping for a period of six (6) months from the date of the draw. if at the end of six (6) months the prize has still not been claimed, the prize or monies equivalent to the fair market value of the prize will be donated to a beneficiary approved by the licensing authority. The following individuals are not eligible to participate in the 50/50 draws:
    • Anyone under the age of 18
    • The organization’s board members
    • purchasers outside of Ontario
  8. By playing, you consent to having your name and winning number published.
