What if the greatest superpower you possess is simply your capacity to care?

When you look at a world battling stigma, isolation, and inequity, do you look away–or do you step forward?

Pride is 365 days a year. Regrettably, stigma and discrimination doesn’t take a day off either. But in a society where intolerance and indifference is a choice, we are calling on you to make a different one. We are calling you on you to CHOOSE LOVE.

This summer, Fife House is looking for everyday heroes to step up and turn the dial from stigma to celebration, from isolation to community. We are challenging students and schools, corporate teams, youth groups, families and community leaders to become Champions of Compassion by joining The Kindness Challenge.

The true test of leadership and strength is not about a person’s age or title, it is about a person’s willingness to take action to fight injustice and support and care for those around them in the community. Whether you are a CEO in a boardroom, a student in a classroom, or a barista at a coffeeshop, this is your moment to be the hero or champion someone else needs.

Your Mission:

  • Complete 100 good deeds throughout the summer–no matter how big or small.
  • Raise vital funds for Fife House’s supportive housing programs and services for vulnerable people and families living with HIV/AIDS by inviting your friends, family and colleagues to donate and help you achieve your fundraising goal.

Your Impact:

Your  acts of kindness and fundraising will do double-duty. Every good deed you complete acts as a powerful blow against discrimination and isolation in our communities. And every dollar you raise provides life-changing housing, food security, and mental health programs for vulnerable community members – helping transform lives and building a more equitable and inclusive city.

The world doesn’t need more bystanders; it needs champions. It needs you.

Every movement needs a leader, and getting started is easy. Here is your mission briefing:

  1. Assemble Your Squad (Sign Up): Every great champion needs a starting point. Answer the call by launching your own Kindness Challenge campaign page using the form below. You can sign up as a solo champion, but heroes rarely work alone—so assemble a league of your own by inviting your family, friends or colleagues to join your team. This is also a perfect opportunity to mentor the next generation of leaders by taking on the challenge alongside the children, teens, or young adults in your life.
  2. Plot Your Master Plan (Set Your Goals): Set a heroic fundraising goal and outline your strategy before the deadline: September 4, 2026. Draft a blueprint of the good deeds you intend to complete, or improvise like a true hero on the fly. Need a training manual? We’ve put together a suggested list of 100 acts of kindness to get you started, plus a special child/youth-friendly edition to guide the young heroes in your ranks. While planned missions are great, random acts of heroism or kindness are just as powerful!
  3. Rally Your Allies (Share Your Campaign): A true leader knows that to win a battle, they need to mobilize their community. So send out your signal! Tell your family, friends, and colleagues that you are stepping up to lead with love. Share the link to your campaign page via email or social media, and invite them to back your mission by making a donation to help you reach your fundraising target.
  4. Broadcast Your Triumphs (Inspire the Masses): Leaders inspire by example. Every time you complete an act of kindness, post a photo or a brief story on your social media. Broadcasting your deeds isn’t just about tracking your progress—it proves to your donors that their support is creating real change, sparks a chain reaction of goodwill, and keeps your momentum soaring as your community cheers you on with words of encouragement or extra donations.

Rewards & Incentives

We recognize that for true superheroes, doing a good deed and helping others is intrinsically rewarding. However, a good deed will always inspire more good deeds in others, so we have lined up a number of rewards and incentives for our most daring and prolific champions.
