Do you want to volunteer at Toronto’s leading provider of supportive housing and support services for people living with HIV/AIDS?
In 2018-2019, 388 unique volunteer roles contributed a total of 18,932 hours of service to Fife House. That’s the equivalent of over nine full-time staff. Fife House was also so excited this year to receive three years of funding through the Ready Commitment at TD Bank Group to expand our peer led Housing Help Drop In and to develop a Peer Housing and Health Service Navigation Project. This funding will build a team of 10 to 15 additional peers who will support clients with making connections to community and linkages to care and support.
Becoming a volunteer or peer at Fife House is an amazing way to give back. We could not do the work we do without our volunteers and peers, who perform integral work for our organization: providing direct services to clients, assisting with administration and reception, assisting with fundraising initiatives and events, governing and providing strategic direction to Fife House, and sharing their lived experience to support and enhance the quality of life of people living with HIV/AIDS.
Fife House is excited to announce that we are recruiting new volunteers and peers to join our amazing team.
